The favorite ice creams of the world!
So this is pretty interesting... These are the TOP favorite ice cream types according to Instagram hashtags.
If you aren't familiar with the hashtag, we will quickly explain. When someone posts a photo to Instagram they hashtag it. This saves it in a database where other people can look it up.
So it would stand to reason that the ice creams with the most pictures and hashtags across the world, are the top selling as well.
If you aren't offering some of these flavors, it might be worth trying!
Often times ice cream shops offer very interesting and unique flavors, but how do they stack up to timeless classics?
This metric might be a little harder to judge honestly. The reason is that if only 1 or 2 stores are offering a specific flavor that is unique to them. There won't be as many hashtags or as many people purchasing it.
Where as something like strawberry, might be available everywhere. So, it will get more posts/tags. But this is still a very telling and interesting take on things.
So let's get to it. Here are the top hash-tagged ice creams this year.
