Ice Cream Shakes! Making the best base!
A standard milkshake sells anywhere from $7-10 at your typical ice cream shop. Because of this they can be a lucrative addition to your frozen dessert store. But lets be honest, shakes don't sell well unless they are absolutely delicious.
So why are some dessert shops shakes a cut above the rest? A shake base is the answer!
Essentially instead of adding milk to your shake, you add a mixture of ice cream mix and milk itself at 50/50. You can add some vanilla extract to give it an extra kick! This process will give you a much more rich shake that your customers will LOVE!
Just make sure to cost this out before you use mix as it does cost more than milk. Many shops reserve this shake hack for their gourmet shakes.
