Love is in the air, along with red, white, and pink ice cream cups! How do you prepare for Valentines Day at your frozen dessert shop?

Whether you're dishing out delicious gelato, frozen yogurt or anything else, Valentines day is usually a great pre-spring sales day.

A quick switch of your cups and spoon colors as well as some V-Day signage and maybe a promotion or two can make all the difference. Ice cream shop sales success can be found in many forms on Holidays! For Valentines in particular we like to offer something like this:

5-10% off through February for all frozen desserts, and a special discount on the day of love itself. Usually a larger discount on a specific flavor or two. Maybe those with red or pink colors in them.

Today is the 1st, so you need to start advertising as soon as possible. Have a flyer (or two) up in your window, and something at checkout so customers know to come back for your Valentines Day sale.

You know what they say in sales... Do more of what works! And Holiday promotions do in fact work!
